Been working with Tammy for the past few weeks on a referral from a friend. I have been through a ton of therapists in my life and to finally work with a Dr that specializes in hypnotherapy, I feel as though I found the lane that really works for me. She speaks a vast language of self work and improvement and is not shy to help you realize the truth to issues within the self. Her practice so far has allowed me to see issues I have struggled with from an outside perspective and gain a clarity on my life and who I am that I don't feel as though regular talk therapy can achieve. Tammy is incredibly gentle and never imposes her opinions. She is great at helping to guide you to your own conclusions and helps you through any sort of confusion on how to make great and necessary changes you may need to make in your life! I love Tammy. I came to her on a recommendation from another therapist with some resistance. I was struggling in my marriage, becoming distant from my partner. After the first session I was with Tammy all the way. She was direct and insightful, kind but firm, and helped to get my emotional healing kick started. Since I have grown to know her as a wise and caring soul who continues to provide vast resources to help me better understand myself, my past and the possibilities that are all around me. Our sessions range the entirety of what's going on in my life--from deep seeded issues to the day to day stresses--and are always cemented with a hypnosis session that I feel comes out of our topic of discussion that day. I have been seeing Dr. Tammy for a few months now, and was skeptical to leave a review because I am a pretty private person. I have seen Dr.Tammy for about 4 months now and it has been empowering. I am strong and confident but have major trust issues and don't really like talking about myself so therapy was hard for me to start with. When I first met her I was so scared to be volnurable with her but she is warm hearted and truly makes you think about what is in your best interest. She also isn't afraid to call bullshit which to me is nice. She is like an honest best friend who is professionally qualified to be there for you. She truly wants to see you soar and be happy with yourself.

I have been seeing Dr. Tammy for a few months now. Her sister Dr. Stephanie (who is wonderful as well) referred me over to Dr. Tammy to help me continue my journey in therapy and self Growth. I've never done hypnosis before and I was a bit hesitant to try it but I'm glad I did. Tammy is an amazing therapist even without the hypnosis and I start to feel better just by being in her presence. The hypnosis is like an incredible bonus. Think of it like a personalized guided meditation. Although you feel conscious the whole time you will be surprised by how deep you feel you've gone by the end of the session. I highly recommend giving it a try. I've only had a few sessions so far and the difference I feel since seeing her is like night and day.

Dr. Hunter is amazing! Our journey has only just begun, but there have already been so many aha and eye-opening moments that every session leaves me more and more excited about the process. I've been to therapy in the past but was also very interested in trying hypnotherapy, and I am so grateful that I did! I was a little resistant at my first session, but Dr. Hunter creates such a safe and nurturing environment that that resistance quickly melted away. And, the best part is that she really wants to help you learn how to be there for yourself and love and accept yourself unconditionally. I don't know how to explain it. It's just a great feeling. It's like hanging out with a dear friend who also just happens to be a spiritual warrior and wants nothing but the best for all. Love!

I got to be honest. I was skeptical of hypnotherapy before I saw Dr. Tammy. I went to her to work on an ongoing intimacy issue I was experiencing. In the first session, she put me in such a deep state that I felt like I was floating. But through that journey, and subsequent sessions, I've begun to work through my issue with the power of permission and acceptance she introduced me to.

First of all, I'm not really one who sits online and writes reviews, I just really don't have much spare time. I must say that I am NOT a patient of Dr Tammy's, HOWEVER, my HUSBAND IS. I have been in therapy myself for many years and possess the ability to immediately distinguish between good therapy and non effective therapy(as in the patient is going through the motions, yet no observable STEPS or progress is made). Our issues are very complicated but I have seen such profound changes in my husband that I felt compelled to write this review.
My husband feels safe with Dr. Tammy and has now been taking many STEPS forward during the past several months during which he's been seeing her. My husband is also the type of person who didn't put much stock into the ability of a professional therapist to help him. He has become much more communicative and is able to explain WHY, many WHYS, the many HOWS. Our marriage was falling apart and I honestly thought we were going to wind up divorced. At this time I am so unbelievably GRATEFUL to Dr. Tammy for helping my husband with his personal journey and self discovery. Our relationship now is better than it has EVER been.
If you are the type of person who doubts therapy or hypnosis works, I can only say that this woman is absolutely phenomenal. If Dr. Tammy could help salvage THIS marriage, I'm relatively certain she can help ANYONE.

I recently started with Dr. Tammy and hands down she is one of the best I have ever seen! I've been to a lot of healers over the years, but for some reason they could not help me get to the core of the problem. In the couple of sessions I've had with Dr. Tammy, I've immediately felt and began to see a huge shift in the way I'm thinking and feeling. Dr. Hunter, has the ability to to connect to the soul of a person. Through her hypnotherapy she gave me answers to some of my problems I have had for a long time. I'm a Vietnam Veteran and I have lived with a lot of pain emotionally. With her help I have brought the pain level down from a 9 to a 4 and I can only say with her patients she has help me unbelievable!

Dr. Tammy is has been a fabulous addition to my life! I needed a different kind of therapy so I thought that hypnotherapy could be the answer. It certainly has been. Dr Hunter! I can't even begin to explain how her support in my life through talking and hypnosis has changed my life. I was going through a huge life transition in many different aspects of my life and Dr. Hunter was able to help me contain myself. She is a strong, powerful, sensitive, loving, and a gentle therapist. Her perspective of viewing life and challenges is very rare to find in therapists. She's easy to talk to...you almost feel like you are talking to a best friend who gives amazing advice and listens carefully.
The hypnosis! I've never done it before, but I was open to it. I was mind blown at how effective it was. I started to see shifts in my perception about life situations within one session. Hypnosis is truly Dr. Hunter's blessings, she is able to visualize and orally express my ultimate visions and dreams in a descriptive state while I am under hypnosis. I was able to truly get a taste of my dreams! Some sessions have given me goosebumps...that is how real they felt.
I honestly can see her support as life long. Whether I am struggling with something or I am trying to reach closer to my dream visions her support in my life is truly divine and I feel so blessed to have come across such an empowering woman!

Tammy Hunter is truly one of the most amazing people in my life. I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am to have her in my life and seeing her is always the highlight of my week. She has helped me SO incredibly much on my self-empowerment and has helped me accomplish things I never thought I would be able to after only 7 weeks. I struggled with self-confidence as well as co-dependence and had issues trying to be happy on my own to live a healthy life. I never have felt so comfortable telling someone so much about myself because she is so nonjudgmental and I know she is only going to use the information to my benefit. I'm moving 30 minutes away but there is no way I am going to stop seeing her because of how important our relationship is to me. Not only is she an amazing person, she really is an incredible business woman and always makes my life easier by sending appointment reminder texts and by being so easy to schedule an appointment with (even last minute)! I have been seeing Dr. Tammy Hunter for a few months now, and I have been absolutely pleased with the progress and results. Dr. Hunter is undoubtedly professional when when it comes to her clients and she is flexible in regards to scheduling appointments, and responds consistently in a timely manner. Additionally, the sessions are in a very comfortable environment which gave me immediate ease and relaxtion. I saw Dr Tammy just three times but apparently it was a charm. I went to her as I was gearing up to do my 3rd round of IVF. My husband and I were trying to get pregnant for 2.5 years with no success. In my first visit she told me that I have to change my belief to start believing that I was going to have a child. I didn't realize it but apparently I believed that I would be that woman who tried and tried to get pregnant and remained childless. It was eye opening when she pointed out that I believed this as even though it was so true, I hadn't realized it before. Then she had me write on a paper over and over again before I went to bed, "I am pregnant". It seemed silly at first but with the hypnosis where she walked me through guided imagery envisioning my babies, it worked. My IVF was successful and I'm now 16 weeks pregnant. I just couldn't believe it worked so fast. She's amazing! I highly recommend her for any issue you're going through. She is warm, positive and I always walked out feeling better. And it worked!!
